No warning, no heads-up—just one tiny soul in need of a lifeline.

That's exactly what happened to today's featured OP. Last week, they spotted a small cat outside their workplace. Hoping he was just a curious neighborhood kitty, they posted in local Facebook groups to see if anyone was missing their pet. But instead of a happy reunion, they learned something heartbreaking: this little guy, along with at least three others, had been neglected and abandoned by his previous owners.

Faced with that reality, OP knew they couldn't leave him behind. So, they scooped him up and took him home. And judging by the updates, he's already soaking up the love and warmth of his new safe space. On his second day home, OP accidentally fell asleep next to him—and four hours later, he was still curled up in the same spot, barely moved. It's like he finally realized he could rest, deeply and safely, without fear. While the others are still out there, someone is keeping a close watch on them, giving OP some peace of mind. And as for this little guy? He's officially been claimed by the cat distribution system, and it looks like he's exactly where he's meant to be.

Last week, this little fella showed up outside my work. I posted in local FB groups to see if he belonged to anyone, only to find out that he (along with at least three others) had been neglected and then abandoned by his previous owners. I immediately knew I couldn’t sleep if I left him there, so he came home with me.
Pic 3 is from his second day home. I accidentally fell asleep shortly after taking that picture, and when I woke up four hours later, he’d moved about 3mm, lol. I think he was just relieved to finally have a warm place to sleep.
